About the Event
Our first Edu-Talk in February was a great success. Our second session in March will focus on all things ethics. Based on feedback from our first session, we are extending Edu-Talk meetings to 90 minutes in length so we can give ample time for everyone to be able to discuss the topic.
Educational interpreting and translation is complicated, varied and takes place across many settings and programs. What challenges are you facing? What questions do you have about how to respond professionally when you are faced with an ethical challenge or dilemma?
Loana Denis, Co-Chair of the Ethics and Standards of Practice Committee is this month's moderator. She'll provide a brief,
15-minute introductory talk and then we'll head to the breakout rooms for discussoin.
Bring your dilemmas, challenges, questions and suggestions for what we know will be a rich, lively discussion!
